Melvin was born and raised in Virginia, but fell in love with Colorado while in town to visit the University of Colorado Boulder, and moved to Colorado shortly thereafter to pursue his Master’s in music. Melvin loves the outdoors, especially the mountains, so couldn’t imagine living anywhere else than this beautiful state he now calls home. He enjoys fishing, camping, and attending festivals with his beautiful wife and three amazing children. Melvin is an incredibly talented opera singer and performs in local operas in his spare time.
